I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Methodist University.  I have additional degrees and certifications from Trinity College of Natural Health and Atlantic Institute of Aromatherapy.  I still enjoy reading and attending continuing education as there is always something new to learn!  I was formerly employed in the mental health field.  I have been trained in Electro-dermal Screening, and I founded Breath of Life in 2002 with a vision of seeing people’s health improve by using vitamins, herbs, homeopathy, nutrition and essential oils.  I am overwhelmed with joy as I see my vision of better health for people become a reality on a daily basis.  My work is very fulfilling!

I’m a former ACE certified personal trainer and aerobics instructor. I taught strength training and kickboxing at YMCAs throughout Williamson and Davidson Counties.  I also taught at Vanderbilt’s Dayani Center and Baptist Health and Fitness Center, and trained  clients for 12 years through my personal training business.  Each member of my family has received significant healing through the aid of Electro-dermal Screening, so I am passionate about sharing the hope and encouragement we have personally experienced.  I am privileged to help others enjoy better quality of health through the various natural methods offered at Breath of Life.

My own journey to health and healing is what brings me to this office as an IQS technician.  Having experienced first hand numerous health issues and deciding to step up to the plate and actively participate in my health and well being has given me a wealth of knowledge that I am eager to share.  My passion to partner with people to improve their own quality of life in this way comes from the deep satisfaction it has brought me to experience this myself!  I have an undergraduate degree in Speech/Audiology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Masters in Education/Special Education from Gallaudet University in Washington DC.  These experiences likewise have enriched my own journey and I find that my love of teaching and caring for people suits my role at Breath of Life very well.  It is fun for me to utilize the intersection of functional knowledge of various brain and body imbalances with the physical aspects of what is affecting the body.  I LOVE my job!  I love the learning, teaching, and am passionate to see others achieve emotional and physical well being!

I came to Breath of Life as an IQS Practitioner & Nutritional Health Consultant. I developed an interest in natural approaches to healthcare after experiencing the benefits of several natural therapies, such as acupuncture, applied kinesiology, and electro-dermal dialogue, first-hand.  I am a CNHP, I attended Trinity College of Natural Health for my Certificate in Nutritional Counseling (CNC), C.A.R.E. Intensives for certification in Aromatherapy and Raindrop Technique, and years ago attended Barton College for Nursing.  Along with a special interest in helping others achieve a natural, healthier state-of-being physically, emotionally and spiritually, my husband Bill and I work with struggling marriages seeking to help them overcome difficult times.
